Biography

James Creech is the Program Director for Academic Strategy and Innovation. In this role, he manages the strategic planning process for Undergraduate Education, advises the Assistant Vice President and the Vice President and Associate Provost on strategic initiatives, prioritizes and plans technology projects, and consults on process improvement and project management within the division.

Prior to joining the OPS team, Creech served as the Interim Director of First Year Advising for the University, managing the team that advised first-year students and overseeing first-year registration, and also as a first-year advisor.

Creech holds both a M.A. and Ph.D in English from the University of Notre Dame and a B.A. in English and French from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill.
