Amanda Springstead

Biography

Amanda Springstead is an Education and Outreach Specialist for the Transformational Leaders Program (TLP). In this role, she serves a cohort of first-generation, rural, and/or differently resourced scholars to connect them with academic resources, professional opportunities, leadership development, and community. 

Previous to TLP Springstead was a Rector for Residential Life, serving as the inaugural rector of the Johnson Family Hall community and serving the Howard Hall community for five years prior, establishing safe and inclusive residence communities that supported holistic formation. As an Academic Advisor in the Center for University Advising, Springstead supported first-year students' transition to college academics and empowered them to make informed decisions to reach their academic goals. 

Springstead earned a B.A. in Theology and Philosophy from the University of Notre Dame, and a Master of Leadership Development from St. Mary-of-the-Woods College.
